Willow Veterinary Clinic Staff

Mr Clive Curry Clive Curry BVSc GPCert(Ophthal) PgD MRCVS

Clive Curry became a veterinary surgeon when he graduated from Liverpool University in June 1985 and he has been a vet for over 25 years. During this time Clive has worked in all aspects of mixed practice. He set up his own surgery in Endon from scratch in 1990. Since then the practice has grown slowly into the modern high tech extraordinarily well equipped practice that we find today.

Clive remains interested in all aspects of practice but he has always been particularly interested in reconstructive salvage orthopaedics, surgical and medical oncology, and more recently he gained a GPCert(ophthal) in ophthalmology from the ESPVS. An interest in welfare cases lead him to study for and be awarded the PgD in forensic science from Staffordshire University, and at the present time he is completing a GP certificate in small animal medicine, as well as beginning work on a higher surgical qualification.

Outside work, when time allows, Clive is a Port Vale season ticket holder, suffering many years of disappointment and failure, but taking it on the chin. If he can get away from the practice, he likes to ski and snowboard in the Alps with the children, and during the summer he tries to pinch a week of windsurfing and sailing in the Med.
